So many people have recommended Mountview Cafe, so I popped in and got a salad and a coffee. The salad was delightful, fresh, and delicious—hallumi and avocado! I can definitely see why everyone loves this place!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Consistently Outstanding – Our Favourite Local Spot! We absolutely love visiting Mountview Cafe – it’s our go-to weekend spot for a delicious and satisfying brunch. The food is consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and excellent value for money. Every visit is a treat, and this one (Saturday, 19th July 2025) was no exception! On this occasion, we ordered two Avo Stack dishes – both featuring generous servings of smashed avocado on perfectly toasted sourdough. One was topped with crispy bacon and creamy scrambled eggs (plus an extra egg), while the other had silky poached eggs. Both were finished with crumbled feta, a sprinkle of herbs, and served with a side of fresh greens and lemon. Absolutely divine! The quality and flavour of the ingredients always shine through, and the portions are more than satisfying. But what really makes Mountview Cafe stand out is the incredible staff – they’re always attentive, friendly, and professional, creating such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. If you’re after great food, top-notch service, and a charming setting, you can’t go past Mountview Cafe. We’ll definitely be back again (and again)!

My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming to this café—it has quickly become one of our favorite spots! The staff always greet us with a smile, and the cozy ambiance is perfect for a relaxed meal or catching up with friends. We have our go-to orders: my girlfriend always gets the Chicken Schnitzel, while I’m pretty much into the Avo Stack. The Chicken Schnitzel is perfectly seasoned, crispy, and never oily—just the way it should be! As for the Avo Stack, it’s a dream for avocado lovers like me. The portions are generous (you won’t leave hungry), and I’m all about the heaps of cheese and avocado that come with it. Pro tip: add some extra bacon—trust me, it’s a game changer! ;) Overall, this café has it all—delicious food, great service, and a welcoming, local vibe that makes us come back again and again. Whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, you’ll feel like you’ve found a hidden gem in the neighborhood :D

Really can't say enough about our impromptu dinner here. 5 of us, quickly seated and treated attentively by the front staff. Food was exceptional ! Arrived all at the same time and all 5 different dishes perfect. Fettuccine Carbonara is so on point ! Keep doing what your doing guys, outstanding value, quality & atmosphere locally !

We dropped by here for breakfast after parkrun. The food was really tasty. The portions were good size and great price. The coffee (long black) was great. I think they .ake their own sour dough in-house. We all thoroughly enjoyed them.

My partner and I took his mum for brunch on Mother’s Day. While very busy, with the meals taking a little longer to come out, the food was scrumptious, well portioned and value for money. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable when questioned about certain items on the menu. Would 100% visit again
